We offer primary care vision and ocular health services. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or to schedule an appointment with an optometrist.
We are providers for most major medical insurances in the state, including Medicare and Medicaid – Call us today to see if your plan is one of them.
Eye Exams – The first step to improved vision and good ocular health is an eye exam. Whether coming to us to check your prescription for glasses or get new contact lenses, you will also receive a comprehensive medical exam to insure ocular health. We are equipped with the latest wavefront refractive technology and test for glaucoma, cataracts, and many other disorders. Regular eye examinations are an important part of maintaining not only optimal ocular health but also can detect many potential systemic conditions before they become a more serious problem. Appointments are available many times on a same-day basis.
Contact Lens Fittings – After an eye exam, we can discuss your best options for improving your vision – one of which may be contact lenses. We provide contact lens fittings for patients with a variety of visual problems including nearsightedness and astigmatism, and will help ease the transition from glasses. Multifocal, toric, and colored cosmetic contact lenses are all available. A contact lens fitting ensures the correct fit of the lens to the eye. We will also spend time demonstrating proper lens care when needed. The right fit and good hygiene are key elements to keeping your lenses comfortable and avoiding irritation and infections.
Retinal Imaging – Observing the inner structures of the eye is an important element to comprehensive ocular care. Our doctors are trained in the contemporary retinal imaging technologies that discover conditions and impairments beneath the eye’s surface. With this information, we can better treat ocular disorders, avoid future vision problems, and even get a better understanding of a patient’s general health. We are now able to offer Optomap Retinal Imaging, which in most cases eliminates the need for our doctor to dilate your pupils and send you home with blurred vision.
Emergency and Medical Care – We are also here to help you in case of sudden injury, irritation and infection of the eyes, or if you are experiencing any trouble or changes with your vision. Please call us right away (rather than book an appointment online) so we can help you best – we are available seven days a week and most every evening. We can also manage many medical ocular conditions and can be convenient to your lifestyle.
